Editorial Policy

How we report, where AI fits in, and how to reach us.

How we report

Each issue collects analysis on a week’s developments in Indian sports: results, technique, athlete development, institutional structures, and the culture surrounding competition. Stories are organized around a coverage beat (see Contributors) and reviewed before publication.

Use of AI

The Field Weekly is a small publication. Research and drafting for our stories are done with AI assistance, and every piece is reviewed by an editor before it publishes. We are not a wire service republishing unedited model output — but we also don’t pretend a large traditional newsroom is behind every byline. If a claim in a story turns out to be wrong, see Corrections below.

Corrections

If you find a factual error in a published story, email us (below) with the story URL and what’s wrong. We’ll fix it and note the correction in the story rather than silently editing it.

Ownership & advertising

The Field Weekly carries a single advertising slot, labeled “Advertisement” wherever it appears. Editorial coverage decisions are made independently of that or any future advertiser.

Train Like the Athletes You Cover.

FieldSense Analytics turns raw match and training footage into biomechanical breakdowns — stride, load, and technique — used by national camps across athletics, wrestling, and football. Built for coaches who want data, not just highlight reels.
